Overview
A compact real-time isothermal fluorometer by OptiGene Ltd (UK) — the lighter, budget-friendly model of the Genie® range with the same thermal precision as Genie® II, III and HT.
Genetic PCR Solutions® validated the ASFV MONODOSE-LAMP® kit on this instrument. An 8-tube strip drops into the block in seconds, and the instrument is controlled from a browser on a PC, tablet or smartphone — over Wi-Fi or a cable.
After amplification the instrument runs a melt-curve analysis: the annealing temperature (Tm) confirms that exactly the expected product was detected.
