Overview
ASFV MONODOSE-LAMP® is an innovative solution for rapid genetic diagnostics and screening of African swine fever virus right on the pig farm. Molecular detection by LAMP without a laboratory or lengthy sample logistics: from swab to result in under 30 minutes.
The kit includes:
- GPSponge® kit — a sponge with buffer for swabbing surfaces at critical farm points. The buffer inactivates the virus and preserves DNA without a cold chain.
- ASFV MONODOSE-LAMP® tubes (24 or 96 tests) — ready-to-use single tubes with a dehydrated reaction mix, no reagent preparation.
- Genie® Lite portable fluorometer (OptiGene, UK) — a 25-minute run at 65 °C with product confirmation by melt curve (Tm).
Full workflow: 1) sampling with a GPSponge® → 2) on-site analysis — a MONODOSE-LAMP® tube in the portable instrument → 3) a positive / negative result with confirmation.

Developed and validated in collaboration with IRTA-CReSA. We match the number of instruments, tubes and sponges to the testing volume of your farm.
